Michael Hartsock is a Colorado native and musician with a unique and unorthodox approach to music. He pulls influences from an extensive and varied library of artists such as Depeche Mode, William Orbit, Thomas Dolby, George Michael and Yes to name just a few. Without a definitive style, his music is interesting, unique, challenging and certainly outside of the norm.

Almost twenty-two years after his first release 'O Shining Star of Bethlehem', a Christmas single; twenty years after 'Don't You Know', a maxi-single influenced by Ace of Base and George Michael  (yes influenced by both) and sixteen years after his six song ep 'the faces of...', which featured the talents of some of his friends and fellow musicians, Michael goes in yet another direction with 'eclectic', a selection of tracks written over the span of some twenty plus years.

This ten track LP written, arranged and produced by Michael is his first project to be recorded solely in his home studio and, with a few exceptions  for vocals, recorded and engineered completely free of outside help. The result is a raw, indie feel with all of the anomalies that a home recording can offer.

Sit down, close your eyes and let this recording take your ears and mind on a journey. The possibilities of where you might end up are endless!
